Driving recruitment solutions for various client groups across the Nursing continuum, the Nurse Recruitment Team focuses on sourcing, candidate placement, process improvement, and business partner satisfaction. You will guide your team of 8 FTEs as their day-to-day recruitment process operations manager, ensuring they receive excellent support and guidance in the full-cycle recruitment process.
In this critical role as the Talent Acquisition Manager of Acute Nursing and HomeCare & Hospice, you will rely on “best practice” research, talent pipelining, innovative and creative ways of attracting talent, social media outreach, and using data to make decisions and drive activity. You will make an impact by using various recruitment tools and dashboards to have constructive conversations and planning sessions with your Client Group Hiring Managers, while also using data to analyze key recruiting metrics to support insights, drive decision-making, and measure team productivity.
Other Key Responsibilities to Include:
- Use your high-level of business acumen and communication skills to work as a strategic partner across MLH with all Nurse Leaders (i.e. the Chief Nursing Officer ,VPs of Nursing, Directors, and Nurse Managers).
- Develop and drive the strategy and execution of Talent Acquisition including process, tools/technology, metrics and reporting.
- Partner with HR Partners and with business leaders at all levels of the organization to understand needs and deliver recruiting results.
- Create methodology to optimize Diversity, Respect, Equity and Inclusion (D&I) partner relationships, local conference presence and event strategy.
- Develop employment branding to attract active and passive candidates.
- Support process improvement/change management projects.
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, concentration in Human Resources or related preferred.
- 10 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in Recruitment / Talent Acquisition and experience managing a team of direct reports required (7+ FTEs).
- Healthcare Recruitment experience in a large corporation or equivalent in a Recruiting Firm or Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company required.
- Nurse Recruitment experience highly preferred.
- Expertise using a variety of sourcing tools, processes & techniques.
- Use e-recruitment and web technologies to support Talent identification including, but not limited to applicant tracking systems, social media, and digital media.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to listen, advise, and influence business leaders.
- Experience driving continuous improvement, along with strong project management skills.
